With the safety of traveling fans, teams and officials in mind, due to a forecast of rain and snow for the weekend, followed by frigid temperatures Saturday, DIRTcar Racing, Lake View Motor Speedway and Cherokee Speedway officials have decided to postpone Saturday (Jan. 15) and Sunday’s (Jan. 16) events.
Officials are actively working to find suitable reschedule dates.
The Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series schedule continues Friday, Feb. 25 at Lavonia Speedway and Saturday, Feb. 26 at Modoc Raceway. However, fans will get the opportunity to see Late Models on DIRTVision even sooner with the Late Model Palooza Sunshine National at Volusia Speedway Park, Jan. 20-22 – featuring the season-opener for the World of Outlaws Late Models.
